Description: Dr. Glen Ihde, a noted general and bariatric surgeon in Arlington, Texas, wished to highlight the addition of the new Transesophageal Incisionless Fundoplication or TIF procedure to his list of services.  Although there is crossover between bariatric surgery and GERD surgery, it was felt that a separate website to target GERD related keywords was the correct approach to meeting Dr. Ihde’s online marketing goals for the TIF procedure.

ifXmedical created a GERD microsite  design to support Dr. Ihde’s existing marketing collateral and to provide education information specific to the GERD patient population. Using a dynamic website publishing platform, EsophyX TIF video, and GERD blog, we targeted reflux related keywords for authority pages on the site and using the medical SEO program continue to extend the site’s visibility in the Dallas and Ft Worth area for heartburns and GERD searches in major search engines.
