Description: Central Ohio Nutrition Center (CONCI), a leader in medical weight management services throughout Columbus, Ohio, celebrated its thirtieth year of service in March 2009. To mark the occasion, Judy Loper, PhD., the Center’s Director, requested ifXmedical redesign the CONCI medical website to demonstrate their continuing commitment to patient success. 

After providing a new look for the site, we upgraded the core architecture to use a dynamic publishing platform as a content management system for the CONCI staff. Using a content management system allows CONCI staff to update patient information on the site such as weight loss blogs, schedules, and page content.

Because commitment to patient success is the primary focus of the site, the main page features a large Flash banner showcasing some of the impressive weight loss accomplishments achieved by patients. The banner encourages click through to a gallery of patients that is updated each month as part of an ongoing online marketing program.

CONCI has established a strong traditional marketing program which is supplemented by an online program featuring content updates, a patient newsletter, and addition of new testimonials. CONCI staff supplements the original blog content created by ifXmedical’s writing team with their own weight loss tips and information in a full featured blog on the website.
